Today I saw the fantasy, now I'll give you a chance to visit the reality.

Well, that was interesting, campers. We've spent quite a bit of time in class cataloging Israel's shortcomings and alleged errors. Israel came out looking pretty black. We had two ( I think, maybe three, because I believe one of them may have been split into two parts the second of which may have been shown on a day I wasn't there) dvds critical of Israel and pro-Palestinian, none favorable for Israel. I've been told I'm not allowed during class time to challenge anything said in class or speak up on behalf of Israel or, more specifically, my friends who live in Judea and Samaria (otherwise known as "the West Bank."). My buddies in Judea and Samaria were pretty much dumped on big time, with no chance given to present or defend their point of view. Much of the information was out of date, to boot, and, I have to say, information that would give a more understandable context to some of Israel's actions was omitted. I'm trying to convince them to reconsider, but I haven't really had any luck so far that I can see. If this is what goes up on the screen AFTER I've appealed to their sense of fairness, I'd hate to see what they had originally planned. But look. They are good people, really. I like them. Most of the time, we get along well and they're genuinely trying to do what they think is right. I'm just saying, I'm trying to get them to let my team have their turn at bat, like the other team. So far, I don't think mine has even been allowed into the dugout yet.

But I'll keep trying. I'll keep you posted on how that goes, but for now, below is a link you can follow to my favorite town in Judea and Samaria, Elon Moreh. I have to admit, they don't bear much resemblance to the nasty characters up on the screen during this afternoon's show, but then, that was propaganda and this website will allow you to meet my friends without someone else's negative screen.

Say hello for me to my buddies in Elon Moreh, okay? [Photo]
